Nikhil Nagesh Bhat is the director of the 2023 Indian Hindi action movie Kill, which is produced by Dharma Productions and Sikhya Entertainment’s Karan Johar, Guneet Monga, Apoorva Mehta, and Achin Jain. Inspired by real-life events, it stars Lakshya (in his first feature film role), along with Abhishek Chauhan, Raghav Juyal, Ashish Vidyarthi, Harsh Chhaya, and Tanya Maniktala.
On September 7, 2023, Kill made its theatrical debut at the Toronto International Film Festival, where it placed first runner-up for the Midnight Madness People’s Choice Award. In June 2024, it was also shown at the Tribeca Film Festival. On July 5, 2024, Kill was released in theaters, to favourable reviews from reviewers.

Story
When NSG commando Amrit Rathod finds out that his love Tulika is getting married against her will, he takes a train with her to New Delhi in an attempt to thwart the planned marriage. Amrit and his companion Viresh confront the bandits to defend the passengers as they start to be terrorized by a group of knife-wielding bandits commanded by Fani. A vicious struggle breaks out as a result.

Release
On September 7, 2023, Kill made its debut in the Toronto International Film Festival's Midnight Madness segment. On July 5, 2024, the movie debuted in Indian theaters. One of the first times a Hollywood company purchased a Hindi-language film for direct release in the US was when Lionsgate acquired distribution rights to the movie in October 2023 for both North America and the United Kingdom. The movie debuted on more than a thousand screens in North America. Day before its premiere in India, on July 4, 2024, Lionsgate and Roadside Attractions subsequently set the film for a theatrical release in the United States. It has been revealed that AA Films has acquired the distribution rights for the Indian theatrical release.
On September 5, 2024, BF Distribution is scheduled to release the movie for a theater run in Argentina. On September 19, 2024, Paris Filmes will launch the movie in Brazilian theaters. On July 25, 2024, Paradise Group launched the movie in Russian theaters under the title "схвaтка".
